VP of Market Access role for medical device company (Field based, no relo)
A medical device company in California is adding a VP of Payer Strategy to their team. This position is meant to bring market access to the executive level and continue the commercial success of their product. It is less invasive, turns an in-patient procedure to an out-patient procedure with a much quicker recovery time.
The company and leadership are very astute when it comes to payer coverage and how clinical data is used for coverage decisions. They have great clinical data and recently received a national CMS coverage decision. They wanted CMS coverage before they began approaching commercial payers and this role is meant to develop and execute the strategy for commercial payers as well as converting from a Cat 3 code to a Cat 1 code.
This position can be field based so no relocation is necessary.
