Payer Relations role with first in class medical device

A first in class medical device company is building a payer team to work with commercial payers to gain coverage policies and provide access to their product.

The company is private and is expecting to undergo quite a bit of growth.  The payer position is slated to grow into a management role.

The product replaces an implantable and invasive procedure with a non-implantable product.  It has excellent clinical data and a great health economic story.  The position will fine tune their payer strategy, provide input and feedback so the company can adapt to changing market conditions.
