An up and comer in the biotech arena is expanding and adding two contracting positions to their team.  My client is growing rapidly due to the adoption of their product and in order to keep up with the demand they need to add a contract position to their team.  They have a unique and first in class product which is accelerating their growth.

This position is meant to review contracts which are negotiated by their managed care account managers to ensure they meet the company’s goals and objectives.

The best aspect of this position is, for the right person, they would allow the position to be based remotely.  If you’re an experienced contract manager and would like to explore an opportunity which requires no relocation then we would like to talk with you.

You’d be mainly responsible for:

• Collaborating with the managed care team to provide feedback and review of proposed contracts.
• Assisting in developing pull through plans with targeted payers
• Analyzing current and past contract data to provide insight for future contract improvements

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Bachelors degree
• 5-10 years of experience in the contracting space with biotech, medical device or diagnostics industry
• Experience with Commercial and/or Government payer contracts
• Billing and coding knowledge
