A fast growing reimbursement consulting firm is looking for an experienced reimbursement expert with a deep breadth of market access/ reimbursement experience to assist their clients with payer strategy, market access strategy and early drug evaluations.

This is a great opportunity to expand your reimbursement experience to include first in class biotech products.  They work with both start ups and established biotech, device and diagnostic companies who are bringing a new product to the market need a well thought out reimbursement strategy.

My client has expanded globally so for those with US experience it could be a great opportunity to gain global experience.

This is an expansion position and it is a great opportunity and this position reports into truly wants and values an “out of the box thinker”.

This position could be based remotely.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Develop innovative reimbursement strategies for the payer market
• Determine the market for the introduction of first in class products from a market access and reimbursement perspective
• Creating coding strategy
• Monitor  payer policy and reimbursement environment
• Analyze the program results which you have created
• Visit customers to get their feedback and provide critical input to the strategy      team
• Use your network to build relationships and assist in the business development activities

Background of a great candidate:

• BS degree, an MBA is preferred
• 5 – 8 years experience in pharma or biotech.  Consulting experience is preferred
• 5 – 8 years experience creating reimbursement strategy for either medical devices, biotech or pharmaceutical products
• Consulting experience
• Coding knowledge
