There is a client I’m really excited about to be working with as I’ve been able to help build out their payer team.

They are adding a payer oriented role in the Central US.  My client understands gaining favorable coverage policy is critically important to their success and they have created a great economic value message.  They have excellent clinical data and they had a large patient clinical trial.  They have invested a large amount of money to insure they have the information payers are looking for to make a decision.

This position will be focused on gaining coverage policies for their products in the Central US region.  Due to the nature of their product you would first gain the coverage policy and then contract with the payers.  Both policy and contracting experience would be a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with payers, government and commercial, to gain coverage policies for the product.
Provide payer feedback to the market access team for strategic changes.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
5-8 years of medical device reimbursement experience with a demonstrated track record of success gaining coverage policies.
Experience contracting with payers
Ability to deliver clinical and health economic data to support reimbursement position

The compensation package targeted for the right person includes a competitive base salary and bonus structure. The health plan is above industry standard.
