I’m working with a medical device start up company that is growing and adding a field based role in CA, NV, AZ, WA, OR, NV, ID or UT.
The company is well funded and has a product that is on the market currently. The device is less impactful for the patient and they have good clinical data.
The position is focused on gaining coverage policies with commercial and government payers. In addition, there would be interaction with providers to answer coding questions.
The product is implantable so the company needs someone with medical device experience and who has a great track record of winning coverage policies.
If you have an interest in learning more I’d be happy to go into detail about who the company is and answer any questions you might have.

The company has a unique product that is approved and currently on the market. It‘s more of a diagnostic product but has reimbursement issues similar to both biotech and medical devices. It has it‘s own code fortunately. The role is focused on gaining favorable coverage policies with both commercial and government payers. The position can be based in the Northeast and they have some flexibility on the geographic location.
The company is established and profitable. I think it’s a good opportunity to get in the diagnostic industry as they tend to be healthier than biotech and device companies. The Diagnostic industry is growing and an area that I’m focusing in on.
If this is of interest to you I’d be more than happy to go into detail about who they are and answer any questions you may have about the position.

Most cover letters take a one size fits all approach. I’ve heard it said that in order to know when you see a great piece of art you’ve had to look at 1,000 bad ones and I’ve seen the worst of the worst cover letters.
The ones that stick out were ones that were customized and you had a sense that the person sat down and actually put some thought to it.
I’m a big fan of customizing cover letters and resumes depending on the opportunity because there are relevant experiences in your background that are applicable to one position and not another. The goal is to pull the relevant experience out and bring it to the forefront.
A few things to consider when writing a cover letter:
