A leading biotech company with life saving products has a great opportunity for you to join them and help fuel their growth. Their products are Part B injectables and they lead their class. Due to the complex payer environment, they have a need for a managed care expert to work with commercial payers in creating a favorable reimbursement policy. You would have national responsibility with key payers. You would also be working with State Medicaid programs, but the company’s focus is currently with the commercial payers.

This position can be based in the Northeast area and the preference would be someone in NY or MA.

This is a critical position and will have an impact on their growth. Their pipeline is full and the company has a very concrete career growth plan for this position. There are several divisions in which to grow.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute payer policy
• Work with cross functional teams to incorporate education, clinical and health economic information into payer messaging
• Develop strategies to bring additional value to the payers

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years experience working with payers to gain coverage policies in either biotech or medical device industries
• Success gaining coverage polices for Part B products
• Experience working with PBMs and Specialty Pharmacy organizations
