An established oncology company is expanding and adding a field based role to provide health economic information to payers.

My client has leading oncology therapies and they realize how critical health economic and outcomes information is for payers to make coverage decisions.  This position is focused on providing health outcomes and economic information to the payers to assist in those decisions.  The company is well respected and growing.

This position will report into a great manager who I know well.

This position is field based and can be located anywhere in the United States with 50-60% estimated travel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health economic and health outcomes information about my client’s products to Medical Directors of regional and national payers
• Partner with internal teams to create custom projects needed to attain the company’s goals
• Create custom reports or materials which provide relevant health economic information to particular payers

Qualifications:

• M.D., PharmD or PhD degree is required

• 5-10 years in the biotech industry focused on working with payers providing health economic information

• Experience with Commercial, Government Payers and Specialty Pharmacies

• Oncology experience is highly desired

• Experience working with Medical Directors on health policy decisions
