VP of Sales and Marketing

My client is looking for a Sales and Marketing pro to take them to the next level.  Their product treats a disease where the only other viable medical option available is surgery.  The drug is approved in the US and Europe, has a J code and their sales are climbing.

This VP role will have responsibility for their sales team and their marketing strategy.  They are looking for someone who is very strong in sales management, has experience building out sales teams and who has had some marketing experience.  This is a critical position that reports directly to the CEO of this global biotech company.

This is a publicly traded company with a unique product in a specialty therapy.  Their potential for growth is unrivaled in the market. This an opportunity to help an important  product reach affected patients and to help them avoid  surgery.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales force
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies to continue sales growth of their Part B drug
  • Work closely with other divisions within the company such as market access, regulatory, medical affairs and clinical to develop a well thought out strategy to increase sales
  • Be a great leader, be a great mentor and create an environment your team will thrive in

Your background must have:

  • Sales force management experience at a Director or VP level
  • Marketing experience – Manager or Director level
  • Part B drug experience
  • Ocular therapeutic experience would be a big plus
